After two years of the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, many international markets began to receive Vietnamese workers to work. However, in the context of the risk of high inflation globally, the conditions for labor export are also stricter, especially for traditional markets.
Labor import markets such as Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan (China)... have recently reopened in turn with increasingly strict conditions and higher requirements for workers quality. In addition to preparing full documents, candidates must also meet foreign language skills, behavior and some criteria on disease prevention.
In particular, when starting to reopen to the world, Taiwan (China) applies a scale system to evaluate the priority of foreign workers to enter based on the Covid-19 vaccination status of the workers, epidemic control situation in the country of labor supply and epidemic prevention conditions of the employer.
From March 2022, depending on the epidemic control situation, Japan will accept all documents. Before entering the country, trainees must download the "My SOS" application to present when checking in at the airport. Accordingly, when registering to enter Japan, the company receiving trainees must register for an entry permit, and is responsible for ensuring the management of the trainees.
Japanese authorities allow online registration for entry permits through the health check immigration system. After entry, trainees must present a certificate of negative PCR test results for Covid-19 issued within 72 hours.
Similarly, South Korea allows workers from all sending countries to enter if they ensure good implementation of Covid-19 prevention measures in the country. Requires an international certificate, at least 2 years of experience, participating in social insurance. All workers going to Korea to export labor must participate in an escrow deposit. Currently the deposit level is 100 million VND.
In 2022, the total target of receiving foreign workers under the Korean EPS Program is 59,000 people (an increase of 7,000 targets compared to 2021). In addition, the workers also have the opportunity to convert the visa to the common worker E 9 - a visa that allows workers to work long-term in Korea.
Labor export managers said that the legalization of training before dispatching workers has gradually formed a standard workforce in many markets receiving Vietnamese workers. At the same time, meeting the requirements of the international labor market, both in terms of sense of discipline and industrial working style, living in developed countries, Vietnamese laborers are always appreciated of hard work, diligence, quick grasp of work, quality work and productivity by employers and relevant agencies in the receiving countries.
According to statistics, in the first quarter of 2022, Vietnam sent nearly 2,500 laborers to work abroad under contracts. In which, the total number of laborers going to work abroad in March 2022 is 1,096 people, mainly concentrated in Japan, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Hungary, China... Specifically, the Japanese market has 612 employees, Taiwan market has 439 employees, Korea has 336 employees, Singapore has 331 employees, China has 1,245 employees, Hungary has 99 employees, Russia 71 has employees, Poland has 68 employees, Romania has 65 employees…
